Editorial Independence

UMed Press does not influence editorial decisions, peer review outcomes or acceptance criteria. The journal has its own Editor-in-Chief and editorial board, and decisions are made on scientific merit alone.

Publisher Responsibilities

UMed Press is responsible for technical infrastructure, DOI registration, digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network, and upholding publishing ethics. It supports the journal's editorial work while staying independent of it.
